Check-out: 10am NSW time (yes we know that the time in Queensland is different sometimes but we trade in NSW – sorry!).

Late Check Out: Please check with office staff. Charges may apply.

Late Arrivals: Please advise reception if you plan to arrive outside of reception hours and they will explain the late arrivals process.

Reception hours: Monday to Sunday, 8am – 6pm, 8am – 7pm DST.

*Christmas Day – Reception Closed.

Rates

All Tweed Holiday Parks rates are accessible through our website or please call the holiday park directly.

Surcharges

All additional guests will be charged per person/per night. Failure to advise and pay for additional guests on arrival may result in your reservation being cancelled.

  • A single night surcharge of $50 applies for cabin and surfari tent accommodation in the off-peak period.
  • Extra persons (5 years and older) for sites (tents/tourist sites/ensuites) are charged from $10 per night.
  • Extra persons (5 years and older) in cabin and surfari tent accommodation are charged from $20 per night.

Payment requirements

Full payment is required at the time of making a reservation.

If your reservation is for more than 27 nights and falls during the off-peak season or you are staying on the Hastings Point Headland over Christmas a 1-week deposit is required when making the reservation.

For stays over 27 nights a further 2 weeks is payable on arrival.   The rest of your stay can then be paid weekly in advance. 

For Christmas Bookings at the Hastings point Headland full payment is required by 31 October of each year.

This can only be set up at reception and cannot be booked online.

Site guarantee 

Whilst we will make every endeavour to accommodate your request for a specific site, cabin or surfari tent, it is not guaranteed. Occasionally, it may be necessary to move a reservation for operational reasons.

Site set up

  • Minimum distance from site boundary – 1.25 metres.
  • Exception - Minimum distance from roadway – 1.00 metre.
  • Minimum distance from other caravans, tents or camper trailers – 2.50 metres.
  • Tarpaulins can cover a maximum of 2/3 of the site area.
  • Please try not to cover our grass with tarps as it kills the grass.

    As all site sizes vary, please discuss your requirements with park staff when booking a site. 

Receipts

Please retain the receipt issued to you on arrival. This validates your reservation details. Please check that your arrival and departure dates are correct when you receive the confirmation.

Key loss

Failure to return, loss or damage of boom gate tag and or amenity key will result in a $30 charge to your credit card for a replacement.

Pets

Tweed Holiday Parks have a no pet policy at all holiday parks. Exceptions are only made for Assistance animals where appropriate documentation is provided to the holiday park at the time of making the reservation.

Reservations subject to change

Tweed Holiday Parks reserve the right to correct any information (including but not limited to, pricing information) and amend your reservation (in consultation with you) to ensure that it reflects the correct price or relevant information. Additional charges may be payable by you if you wish to proceed with the affected reservation. You will be informed of such charges if applicable. 

Cancellation policy

To obtain a refund or credit, you must notify the holiday park in writing and provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice in off-peak 7 days in shoulder and 14 days notice in peak prior to your arrival date.

  • All refunds will incur a $40.00 administration fee.
  • All fees are forfeited for no shows.
  • Should people vacate a site early due to weather conditions, no refund will be given.

Credits and date changes

  • Changes to a booking can be made up to 72 hours prior to arrival in off-peak season, 7 days prior to arrival in shoulder season and 14 days prior to arrival in peak season.
  • One free date change will be provided over the life of the booking. Any further changes to a booking will incur a $40 administration fee.
  • Credits provided are valid for 12 months from the original date of arrival.

Boom gates and parking

One car park is allocated per site, cabin or surfari tent. Additional cars must be parked in the visitor car park. Please advise reception upon booking if you have a boat or trailer. Please do not tail gate another vehicle through the boom gate or use the tag to gain entry for unauthorised vehicles. If you use the tag for a second vehicle it will prevent your first vehicle from entering or exiting the park. Failure to comply with this will result in the boom gate tag being turned off.

Future bookings

Tweed Holiday Parks opens the 12-month booking windows on the 1st day of each month for future reservations for all accommodation types except for single night stays. Reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis.

Reservations for single night stays are not available on-line. Cabins, Surfari Tents and ensuite site accommodation can only be accepted after 3pm the preceding day via holiday park reception. 

Overnight stays on a site are accepted in the off-peak periods only, generally not on weekends and depends on availability. It is at the discretion of holiday park management.

Friday and Saturday night are the weekends (unless it is a long weekend).

 Minimum stays and seasons

  • Off-Peak – Cabins, Surfari Tents and Ensuite Sites – minimum stay is 2 nights
  • Off-Peak – no minimum night stay for sites (Subject to change on weekends)
  • Peak Summer – minimum stay is 7 nights.
  • Peak School Holiday – minimum stay is 4 nights.
  • Peak Long Weekend – minimum stay is 3 nights.
  • Shoulder – minimum stay is 4 nights.
  • Winter – June, July and August inclusive.

Packages, deals and discounts

Credit card guarantee

A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the holiday park on arrival. Photo ID may be requested. Your credit card number will be held by an encrypted link on our booking system for the duration of your booking and stay. Credit Card information remains encrypted on your guest account. Our system is PCI compliant, and the staff never have full access to your credit card information.

Booking refusal

Tweed Holiday Parks does not have a formal policy on the circumstances when a booking can or can’t be refused. However, normal trespass laws apply and under the law of trespass, if someone enters the property without permission, we can ask them to leave. If they refuse to go when asked, they are trespassing, and we can use reasonable force to remove them. As a rule, it is at the discretion of the holiday park management if any booking is accepted or not.

Supervision of children

All children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the amenities, playground, swimming pool and other facilities.

Play equipment and sporting facilities

Play equipment and sporting facilities are permitted from 8.00am to sunset. Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades etc must only be ridden on the roads within the holiday parks and at no more than 5kph.  Please ensure the appropriate safety equipment is worn at all times.  To prevent the risk of serious injury motorised play equipment such as scooters, skateboards, mini bikes, monkey bikes, Wheelman or Segways are prohibited.

Risk warning

By entering the holiday park, it is accepted that all activities including recreational activities are not free of risk and that park management is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from such activities.  On entry, it is also agreed that park management, owners, employees or agents are indemnified against all claims for injury, loss, damage or theft of property.  Guests and their visitors who engage in recreational activity in accordance with the Civil Liability Act 2002 inside or near the holiday parks, that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or personal injury.  All persons who engage in recreational activity do so at their own risk.

Noise

Please be respectful of other guests and consider their enjoyment within the holiday park by restricting noise from televisions, music and social gatherings between the hours of 9pm and 8am. After 10pm: Silence is Golden.

Smoking

Please note that smoking is not permitted in any cabin, surfari tent, holiday park facilities or in and around the community areas.

Open fires

Open fires are not permitted.

Surveillance cameras

Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within our property.  Park Management comply with the Tweed Holiday Parks Security Camera Surveillance Policy.

Photography

You and your children may be photographed for marketing purposes.  Please advise upon check-in if you do not wish to be photographed.

Wilful damage

Any charge for services not billed at the time of your departure and any damage or loss to our equipment in the holiday park or accommodation, which you are responsible for, will be charged to the same credit card used to pay your account. You are requested to leave the accommodation in the same condition as upon occupation. In the event your accommodation is left in an unsatisfactory state, we reserve the right to debit your credit card for extra cleaning or damage repair costs.

Visitors

All visitors need to be registered on arrival. Guests are responsible for visitors behaviour. Any visitor that stays overnight must be registered prior to staying (fees apply).

Electrical connection

Electrical leads connected to our power outlets must only be by a single 15amp lead, not less than 10 metres in length.  The use of double adaptors is not allowed.

Vehicle length

Sites will be allocated based on the measurements provided during the booking process. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure the dimensions are as accurate as possible. If you are unsure, please call the holiday park directly. The measurement of a caravan/campervan includes the draw bar, bumper bar and any items hanging over the bumper. 

10km speed limit

Speed is to be limited to 10km/h and directional signs must be observed.

Garbage and recycling

It is your responsibility to keep your site tidy, ensuring sullage water and rubbish are disposed of correctly. Bins are located throughout the holiday park. Signage explains what items are acceptable for recycling. We appreciate your cooperation.

Underage bookings

Tweed Holiday Parks recommend to holiday park managers, that any bookings made by minors (under 18 years of age) must have a responsible adult present. A responsible adult is deemed a parent or teacher. Typically, an 18-year-old who is part of the booking would not be deemed responsible in terms of any issues that may arise within the group.

Holiday park management

All reasonable direction given by holiday park management must be followed by guests and their visitors.

Not allowed

The following is not allowed under any circumstances:
Illegal drug use.

  • Excessive use of alcohol
  • Undue mess around a site
  • Unregistered overnight guests
  • Undue noise
  • Acts of violence or abuse
  • Smoking in accommodation
  • Unregistered vehicles.

Please make yourself familiar with our emergency evacuation maps in case of an unforeseen emergency. Emergency evacuation information is available to view at reception. In case of an emergency, please remain calm and follow instructions from the holiday park staff.
