Now, with EV charging available in select Harbour Cabins from 19 November, your car can recharge right alongside you.
Whether you’re road-tripping down the coast or escaping for a quiet weekend, driving an EV means planning your stops. But it doesn’t have to mean compromise. Our new EV chargers take the hassle out of finding a public station, with no detours, no waiting in queues, and no surprise costs. Just plug in, head inside, and relax knowing your car will be ready to go when you are.
The chargers are being installed in Harbour Cabins 5, 6, and 8. So, whether you’re travelling as a couple, a family, or a group, you can choose a space that suits you and your vehicle.
We designed this upgrade with simplicity in mind. The chargers are single-phase units delivering up to 7.1 kW, ideal for overnight charging. Most electric vehicles will recharge in around 6 to 8 hours, meaning you can plug in after dinner and wake up to a full battery by morning.
Each charger has a tethered Type 2 cable, so you can leave yours at home. There’s even a neat holster for storing the plug when not in use. Because the system includes anti-tripping load management, you can use your cabin as normal, with air conditioning, lights, and all your other comforts, without worrying about power interruptions.
Most importantly, there’s no app, no account, and no fee. Charging is complimentary for guests staying in these cabins. No tapping cards or scanning QR codes, simply plug in and enjoy your stay.
This upgrade isn’t just about convenience, it’s about helping guests travel more sustainably without the friction that can come with driving electric. It means you can plan less, explore more, and enjoy the coast the way it’s meant to be experienced: easy, unhurried, and eco-conscious.

From Wednesday, 19 November, all three chargers will be live. We’re also updating our park map and cabin floor plans to highlight which Harbour Cabins include EV charging, so you can easily find and book one for your next stay.
