Tweed Time Out
"A pretty place of riverside towns and hinterland hamlets on the Far North Coast of NSW, the sun-soaked Tweed is the place for leisurely days surfing world-class breaks, swimming in crystalline creeks and rivers, and exploring Wolrd Heritage-listed Gondwana rainforests. That is, if you can tear yourself away from the fun of Tweed Holiday Parks!
We arrive to a warm and friendly reception at Tweed Holiday Parks Pottsville North and choose a lush grassy powered site to set up our van and side annex.
For those after a little more comfort, Tweed Holiday Parks Pottsville North, located right on the border of Queensland, also offers modern self-contained cabins. And for something a little adventurous, the holiday park also has 'Surfari' tents that sleep four and offer a private deck overlooking the park."
"The stylish Tweed Holiday Parks Tweed Heads is located on Terranora Creek by the calm waters of the Tweed River, a short stroll from the town centre. it boats trendy sites and amazing facilities, all positioned perfectly from the water's edge.
We decide to mix it up and spend a night in a luxurious beachside cabin. Our getaway home sits on a pretty little sandy beach where pelicans slowly drift along with the current.
The cabin is gorgeous and the kitchen is a real treat, especially with a Nespresso machine to fuel us parents. The park ticks all the boxes with so much to see and do. As soon as we've checked in, the kids are bursting to hit the temperature-controlled pool with its cool slide. Then it's off to the huge adventure playground with plenty of giggles. Near the playground is the camp kitchen barbecue and communal kitchen with a large pagoda for shade and shelter.
There's a TV room with sofas to snuggle up on, as well as dad's favourite - the outdoor gym."
