During the summer months, many like to indulge in platters of seafood... but when you are on holiday in a new location - it can be hard to know where to go! To make things easier... we have picked our top three seafood places that are in close proximity to our parks.

Get hooked

Yes, that is the name! This seafood market/takeaway shop is a 5 minutes drive away from our Tweed Heads park, are open daily and fully licensed. They have an extensive takeaway menu if you are after traditional fish and chips or burger and can be conveniently ordered online.. but we recommend eating in as they have pristine water views overlooking the harbour.

Tweed River Seafoods

Our next spot is Tweed River Seafoods, located in Chinderah... which is conveniently located just under 10 mins away from our Fingal Head, Kingscliff North and Kingscliff Beach parks.

Open 7 days a week and situated along the Tweed River... with pristine views. You can either purchase seafood to cook at "home" or let someone else doing the cooking and order off their takeaway menu - we recommend ordering takeaway, heading across the road and sitting at the many picnic benches located riverside.

The Stunned Mullet

This amazing fish & chip shop is just a few minutes down the road from our Hastings Point, Pottsville North and Pottsville South parks at Cabarita Beach. This popular eatery puts a spin on the classic fish & chips! With many types of chips, salt and fish to choose from, you are in for a fresh take on the classic beachside favourite! Stunned Mullet is also BYO and has the perfect spot to catch that afternoon sunset!
